Services

The Starfish Difference (as with all charities) wishes we could provide more services then we do. With limited resources, however, we are able to provide many services to people who are trying to help themselves but struggle to get out of the poverty for many different reasons.

With donations such as money, clothing, furniture, mobile homes, trailers, appliances, medical supplies (not drugs) and many more items, we are able to provide or help pay for the following services:

• Food and clothing

• Medical needs such as glasses, wheel chairs, walkers, braces, or dental

• Cleaning, preparing and delivering donated mobile homes and trailers that replace the make-shift card board shakes they live currently live in

• Building houses or providing the resources for them to build their own homes out of brick instead of just wood or cardboard

• Providing the orphanages with clothes, furniture, soy milk for babies and food for the kids

• Putting on Christmas Caravans to deliver many different items

• Having a Thanksgiving Feast consisting of hot dogs and etc.

• Refurnishing or delivering donated Heaters, coolers, stoves, washing machines and refrigerators

• Supplying donated and refurbished bikes that serve as the main means of transportation to get back and forth to jobs

• Providing the means for the underprivileged that cannot afford to go to schools for a quality education to help better their lives

• Distributing donated and refurbished computers programmed in espanol to students who stay in school and are in need of technology to help further their education.

• Help supply gas, electric and water to those who are disabled and not able to find a job to pay for their basic needs.

These are a few of the many services we strive to provide.

We are always looking for groups, families and etc. to adopt and help a needy family in some form or another. We would gladly send you pictures and descriptions of the people you may choose to help. We are confident if you want to donate and help that we can find a family for you that would be very grateful for any assistance. If you ever travel down to this part of Arizona, we would be more than happy to show you firsthand how your generosity is helping families.
